Squire Patton Boggs is seeking first-year law students for its 2027 Summer Associate Program. This role involves working on complex transactions, disputes, and policy matters across various practice areas and industries, providing valuable experience and mentorship.
What you'll do
- Work on complex, high-level transactions, disputes, and policy matters across our network of practices and industries
- Work on various assignments and gain exposure to your practice areas of interest
- Receive excellent mentorship at the partner and associate levels
- Access workshops and seminars on legal writing
- Engage in pro bono opportunities
What we're looking for
Rising 1L student at an ABA-approved law school
Record of outstanding academic achievement
Foreign language skills and multicultural experience prior to law school are a plus
Geographical ties
Commitment to client service
Legal research and writing skills
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated leadership ability
Commitment to team success and integrity
Sound judgment
Preference given to the top 25% of class or GPA of 3.5 and above· nice to have
