The role

A&O Shearman is seeking an interim Legal Consultant with 5+ PQE in Construction/Projects for their Dubai office. This role involves supporting the firm and its clients on challenging and landmark deals across the UAE, focusing on complex developments and project financing.

What you'll do

Advising on every stage of high-profile, complex developments from project inception and financing to delivery and dispute resolution
Collaborating with industry leaders
Supporting and advising on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of project agreements
Covering projects supporting and advising on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of LNG project agreements
Shaping legal input on financing materials
Partnering with internal functions, such as finance and sourcing

What we're looking for

A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a top tier firm for your specialism and jurisdiction

A current practising certificate (or equivalent)

Recent in-house legal experience within an energy, construction, transport or infrastructure company· nice to have

Middle Eastern experience· nice to have

Arabic language skills· nice to have
