This role is for a Legal Consultant (4-8 PQE) in the Banking & Finance practice at A&O Shearman in London, United Kingdom, supporting a variety of finance transactions.

What we're looking for

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience at a law firm ranked as top tier for the area of banking law they specialise in

A practising certificate (or equivalent) which entitles them to practise as a lawyer in the UK

Right to reside and work in the UK

4-8 years' top-tier post-qualification experience in banking & finance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Exemplary commercial/business acumen and client service ethic

Proven project management skills

Recent in-house legal experience at a leading financial services institution (directly or as a secondee)· nice to have
