The role

Cooley is seeking 2L students to join their New York office as Summer Associates in the Trademark practice for Summer 2028. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of trademark, copyright, and advertising matters for established and emerging brands.

What you'll do

• Assist with trademark prosecution
• Assist with trademark enforcement
• Counsel clients on brand adoption
• Counsel clients on brand expansion
• Counsel clients on licensing
• Counsel clients on litigation
• Gain experience in contentious matters
• Gain experience in strategic counseling
• Gain experience in portfolio management
