The role

Cooley is seeking a 2028 Summer Associate to join its Trademark practice in Los Angeles. This role is for current 2L students interested in intellectual property law, specifically trademark matters, and will provide exposure to a broad range of trademark prosecution and enforcement.

What you'll do

• Assist with trademark prosecution
• Assist with trademark enforcement
• Counsel clients on brand adoption
• Counsel clients on brand expansion
• Counsel clients on licensing
• Counsel clients on portfolio management
• Work on contentious matters
• Work on strategic counseling
