The role

This role is for a Summer Associate at Baker McKenzie's New York office, targeting students entering their second year (2L) in 2028 or first year (1L) in 2027. The program offers substantive legal work aligned with firm needs and student interests, with a focus on professional development and exploration within the firm's practice groups.

What you'll do

• Work on a wide range of practice assignments aligned to their interests and the Firm needs
• Collaborate across offices on a signature pro bono project
• Participate in skills-based training
• Participate in practice-based training
• Participate in in-person networking
• Be seconded to work in-house with one of the Firm's clients during the summer
