Junior Associate - CILL

The role

Clyde & Co is seeking a Junior Associate with 0-2 years of PQE to join its Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Litigation practice in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role focuses on assisting with complex, high-value, and sensitive injury claims for a variety of clients, including insurers and public bodies.

What you'll do

• Assist with and handle a varied caseload
• Carry out investigations
• Take witness statements
• Review and interpret medical records and medical reports
• Report to and liaise with clients to achieve the best outcomes
• Proactive and strategic file management, including adhering to court timetables
• Support the Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business, and maintaining relationships with clients using technical excellence and innovation
• Draft all legal documents and client advice
• Deal with interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings
• Support marketing and business development activity with the team and the wider Clyde & Co casualty group
