Solicitor or Senior Associate (4-8 PQE) - Energy, Resources & Infrastructure - Brisbane at Mallesons

The role

Mallesons is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Associate with 4-8 PQE to join its Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team in Brisbane. This role is for a transactional lawyer with experience in corporate, private M&A, and/or project development within the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.

Provide advice on a diverse range of matters
Be responsible for varied challenging complex legal work
Support and develop junior solicitors
Assist in managing team resources and workflow
Contribute to the delivery of strategic and innovative solutions for clients
Nurture professional networks
Contribute to business development initiatives
Maintain an active profile within the industry

What we're looking for

4-8 years of experience as a Solicitor or Senior Associate

Corporate, private M&A, and/or project development experience

Experience in the energy, resources, and infrastructure space or a keen interest in moving into this space

Excellent analytical, communication and research skills

Strong commitment to client service and relationship management

Team focus

Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities

First rate experience of drafting advices, reports and documents (including agreements, contracts, deeds, due diligence reports etc)

A commercial and pragmatic approach
