Associate - Tax - Transactional Labor & Employment

The role

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Transactional Tax Associate with 2+ years of experience for its Austin, Boston, or Chicago office. This role sits within the firm's Tax practice and will focus on providing labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, as well as advising employers on employment-related matters.

What you'll do

• Provide labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Provide expert advice and counseling to employers of all types in all aspects of the employment relationship
• Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, and non-competes and other restrictive covenants
