The role

Skadden is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate with 2-5 years of experience in its Restructuring & Insolvency practice group. This role is based in New York or Chicago and focuses on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

What we're looking for

2-5 years of experience

Proficiency in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings

Substantial company-side experience

Mix of other representations including liability management transactions and general lender/creditor representations

Admitted to practice law in the state of the office in which they are applying

High level of academic achievement· nice to have

Experience in the restructuring practice of a peer firm· nice to have
