The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Paralegal for their Commercial Litigation team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. This role is suitable for a paralegal looking to develop their litigation career and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and highly regarded team.

What we're looking for

A Law degree (LLB or equivalent)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build effective relationships with clients, insurers and external stakeholders

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Ability to manage competing priorities effectively

A proactive approach to managing your workload and progressing matters efficiently

Strong client care skills

Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism and good judgement when supporting clients through challenging circumstances

Experience working within a legal environment, ideally within litigation or dispute resolution· nice to have

Experience liaising with legal expenses insurers· nice to have

Knowledge of litigation procedures and case management processes· nice to have
