Senior Associate/Legal Director - Leasehold Enfranchisement

The role

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking a Senior Associate/Legal Director with 5+ years of experience to join their Property Disputes team in London. This role focuses on leasehold enfranchisement matters, acting for a diverse client base of landlords, investors, developers, and tenants.

What you'll do

• Act for large estate landlords, investors, developers and tenants in respect of statutory lease extension claims, collective enfranchisement claims, right to manage claims, tenants' rights of first refusal, and enfranchisement reform
• Advise a mixed client base from both the public and private sector on enfranchisement issues
• Manage statutory lease extension and enfranchisement claims, acting for both landlords and leaseholders
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and advise clients on any proposed terms in enfranchisement claims
• Build and maintain effective client relationships
• Actively participate in marketing initiatives
• Participate in firm-wide, office and departmental training sessions
• Prepare reports to clients
• Ensure files are managed in compliance with Lexcel procedures
