The role
Orrick is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their practice in Boston, New York, or San Francisco. This role will focus on non-patent IP matters including AI, copyright, and trademark law, and is ideal for candidates with litigation experience in these areas.
What you'll do
- Manage intellectual property/technology litigation and enforcement matters in the copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising and AI spaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients
- Develop strategy for complex litigation and enforcement actions
- Counsel clients on legal risks related to product development
- Conduct legal research and analysis and demonstrate strong legal writing skills
- Manage the discovery phase of litigation, including working with the client and vendors to run e-discovery
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and work effectively as a team player
What we're looking for
2 to 4 years of experience in AI, trademark, copyright, false advertising, and/or trade-secret law including litigation

Trial experience is preferred· nice to have
Willingness to engage with a broad range of laws and legal principles necessary to support technology clients with legal disputes· nice to have

The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $310,000
