The role

Gowling WLG's Ottawa office is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to join their Medical Defence general counsel practice. This role focuses on health law and offers an opportunity to become part of a thriving practice group.

What we're looking for

2 to 4 years of experience in medical defence, health law, privacy law, or a related field

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage a large caseload

Experience appearing before various levels of court

Exceptional client relationship management skills

Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills

Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset· nice to have
