The role
K&L Gates is seeking an experienced Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Special Projects Lawyer with 5+ years of experience for their M&A practice. This role is based in Austin, Boston, or Charleston and involves supporting special projects within the Emerging Growth and Venture Capital team.
What you'll do
- Assist with company formations and prepare basic formation documents, including certificates of incorporation, bylaws, subscription agreements, vesting agreements, board consents, and required qualifications
- Support equity issuances for emerging growth and venture capital clients
- Assist with basic consulting and employment agreements
- Manage ongoing Carta administration and upkeep
- Maintain data rooms and document repositories for client matters
What we're looking for
At least five years of relevant corporate experience
Licensed and living in a state with a K&L Gates LLP office
