Cost Lawyer at Reed Smith

The role

Reed Smith seeks a qualified Cost Lawyer or experienced Draftsperson to join their Litigation practice in London. This role will focus on drafting and advising on legal costs documents and collaborating with litigators on strategic costs recovery.

What you'll do

Drafting and reviewing costs schedules, statements of costs and detailed bills of costs
Analysing and providing commentary on equivalent documents submitted by opposing parties
Advising on costs budgets and preparing client estimates
Producing and advising on supporting schedules for applications seeking security for costs and requests for interim payments on account
Collaborating with Reed Smith litigators to provide clients with strategic advice on costs recovery and the broader procedural issues that arise in connection with such matters
