Paralegal at A&O Shearman

The role

A&O Shearman is seeking a Paralegal for their Finance practice in Hong Kong. This role will provide high-quality legal and administrative support to fee earners on a broad range of client matters and transactions.

What you'll do

Participate in due diligence exercises, including reviewing materials and documents written in Chinese
Assist with the preparation and reviewing of disclosure documents and other legal documents
Conduct legal and commercial research on an ad hoc basis
Provide general transaction support and administrative assistance to fee earners as required

What we're looking for

Excellent academic record

Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and persuasively, both verbally and in writing

Strong commitment to excellence and consistently deliver high-quality work

Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients

Strong desire to work for A&O Shearman and be committed to contributing to the success of the firm while developing your own legal career
