Law Clerk - Litigation

The role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Law Clerk with 2-5 years of experience to join their Litigation practice group in Toronto, Canada. This role supports a highly regarded team handling complex commercial disputes, offering an opportunity to contribute to client matters and professional development.

What you'll do

• Assist lawyers with litigation files, including organizing files and documents
• Interact with clients and lawyers in the firm to obtain information and report verbally and in writing on the status of files
• Summarize transcripts of discovery and cross-examinations, lists refusals and undertakings
• Assemble answers to undertakings
• Prepare bills of costs
• Prepare charts, chronologies and summaries of documents for use at discovery and trial
• Assist professionals/staff from Norton Rose Fulbright’s other offices to obtain documentation from courts
• Assist with the billing and administrative reporting requirements for certain clients
• Perform other administrative duties, as required
