Paralegal at Norton Rose Fulbright

The role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Paralegal for its Asset Finance (Shipping) practice in Singapore. This role will support the team on a broad range of ship finance and offshore transactions.

What you'll do

Drafting and preparing finance documents, corporate authorisations, legal opinions and other ancillary financing documents
Registering and deregistering charges with the relevant registries
Liaising with clients, foreign counsels, flag state registries and other relevant stakeholders
Proof-reading, formatting and cross-checking documents for accuracy and consistency
Checking and preparing conditions precedent reports and closing checklists
Compiling and organising transaction bibles
Assisting with the consolidation and updating of know-how materials, precedent databases and legal research

What we're looking for

Prior experience as a paralegal or legal executive in an asset finance, shipping or banking and finance practice within a law firm

Excellent written and spoken English

Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite

Competence in legal research tools

Good academic record

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage a demanding workload with competing deadlines

A proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Initiative to take ownership of tasks

Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to a wide variety of assignments

Proficiency in Mandarin· nice to have
