Paralegal

The role

Habib Al Mulla and Partners is seeking a Paralegal with 1-2 years of experience to support their M&A practice in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role will assist with a variety of corporate and transactional matters.

What you'll do

• Provide support to Partners and Associates on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory work
• Assist with preparation, review, and management of transaction documentation, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Support with legal, regulatory, and corporate due diligence exercises, including the review of corporate records, preparation of due diligence reports
• Conduct legal and commercial research on UAE corporate laws, regulations, and market developments
• Coordinate and manage company incorporations, amendments, restructuring projects, and ongoing corporate governance requirements including UAE mainland and freezones
• Maintain accurate corporate records, statutory registers, and transaction-related documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, memoranda, and client communications, and other corporate documents to a high standard and within required deadlines
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, monitoring key deadlines and supporting the efficient progression of transactions from inception through to completion
• Undertake any additional responsibilities required by the team
