The role
Fried Frank is seeking an off-track Tax Sub-Doc/Transfer Associate to join their Tax Department in New York or Washington D.C. This role will focus on reviewing, negotiating, and tracking tax aspects of investor subscriptions and transfer documents for private equity clients.

- Negotiate tax portions of investor subscriptions and transfer documents
- Track tax portions of investor subscriptions and transfer documents
What we're looking for
J.D. and DC or NY Bar admission required (pending admission is acceptable)
Some knowledge of tax law, to include law school tax classes and/or tax experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present well to clients
Good academic credentials
Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and as a team member
Some knowledge of Excel
