Paralegal (Debt Capital Markets) at Mayer Brown

The role

Mayer Brown is seeking a Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets to join their Finance and Securities practice in Hong Kong. The role involves supporting partners and associates in a busy, high-volume practice with a focus on transaction documentation and matter management.

What you'll do

Provide support to Partners and Associates in Hong Kong
Matter management including reviewing initial and subsequent drafts and summarizing changes
Handling documentation relating to closings and completion
Document checklist review and annotation
Attend to and handle tasks during non-work hours and on weekends

What we're looking for

Paralegal experience from leading U.S. or magic circle legal firms

3 to 5 years of experience in the Debt Capital Markets practice

Fluent in oral and written English

Comfortable participating in conversations and written communications in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

Able to review drafts in Chinese

Ability to perform routine tasks independently and to a high service quality

Excellent organizational skills

Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, with high quality and in a timely manner
