Real Estate Paralegal (12 month FTC)

The role

CMS is seeking an enthusiastic Real Estate Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sheffield or Manchester. This role will focus on supporting energy and utilities clients with documenting land rights through servitudes and easements, involving caseload management, client instructions, negotiation, and completions.

What you'll do

• Manage a busy caseload of transactions including liaising with the client to obtain instructions
• Draft the easement / servitude documentation
• Negotiate with the counterparty to the transaction
• Carry out basic title reviews
• Update online trackers
• Manage completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filing and client signing / reporting requirements
