Conveyancing Paralegal at Hall & Wilcox

The role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal for their Property & Projects team in Sydney or Newcastle, NSW. This role will support a busy real estate practice with a focus on large volume off-the-plan development conveyancing and commercial property acquisitions and disposals.

What you'll do

Work closely with the team managing large volume off-the-plan development conveyancing, including managing contract amendments, reporting, sunset date tracking and bulk settlement processes
Prepare contracts, transfer documents and settlement documentation
Conduct property and title searches and obtain relevant certificates
Coordinate and attend settlements, including settlements completed via PEXA
Liaise with clients, financial institutions, real estate agents and other law firms
Manage key dates and ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately
Open new matters and maintain file records
Provide general paralegal support to the Property & Projects team

What we're looking for

Experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, Conveyancer or Property Paralegal

Experience in off-the-plan development conveyancing, including high-volume contract management and bulk settlements

Strong understanding of conveyancing processes

Experience using PEXA and electronic settlement platforms

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

The ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A proactive and client-focused approach

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
