The role
Torys is seeking a mid-level to senior Corporate Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join their M&A practice in Toronto. The role is for an excellent lawyer who enjoys collaborating and solving complex legal problems for a diverse client base.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on both public and private M&A transactions
- Assume significant responsibility on transactions
- Take a leadership role on transaction teams
What we're looking for
5-7 years of corporate transactional practice experience
Significant experience advising clients on both public and private M&A transactions
Members in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Experience working collaboratively with practice specialists in a large firm environment
Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
