Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer (5-7 Years)

The role

Prelia is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer with 5-7 years of PQE to join its Corporate and Commercial Group in Montreal. This role will focus on Canadian and international M&A transactions for a diverse business clientele and involve mentoring junior professionals.

What you'll do

• Participate in a broad range of mergers and acquisitions
• Participate in private investment transactions
• Participate in corporate reorganizations
• Participate in other strategic business transactions, primarily involving private companies
• Structure complex transactions
• Coordinate complex transactions
• Execute complex transactions
• Draft share and asset purchase agreements
• Review share and asset purchase agreements
• Negotiate share and asset purchase agreements
• Draft letters of intent
• Review letters of intent
• Negotiate letters of intent
• Draft shareholders' agreements
• Review shareholders' agreements
• Negotiate shareholders' agreements
• Draft a variety of commercial agreements
• Review a variety of commercial agreements
• Negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Serve as a strategic advisor to a diverse business clientele
• Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior professionals
