Labour & Employment Associate – Nova Scotia

The role

Mathews Dinsdale & Clark is seeking a Labour & Employment Associate with 1-4 years of PQE to join their Halifax office. This role is for lawyers interested in advising employers on a broad range of workplace law matters within a supportive, boutique national firm.

What you'll do

• Advise employers on labour relations
• Advise employers on employment law
• Advise employers on occupational health and safety
• Advise employers on workers’ compensation
• Advise employers on human rights
• Advise employers on pay equity matters
• Represent employers in proceedings before Nova Scotia and federal courts and tribunals
• Represent employers in grievance arbitration
• Represent employers in certification matters
• Represent employers in other labour board matters
• Represent employers in human rights boards of inquiry
• Represent employers in workers’ compensation appeals
• Represent employers in wrongful dismissal litigation
