The role
Devry Smith Frank is seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with 5+ years of experience to join their team in Barrie, Canada. This role will focus on managing complex commercial litigation files from inception to completion within the firm's litigation practice.
What you'll do
- Manage a variety of complex commercial litigation files from start to finish
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other court materials
- Conduct examinations, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Appear on contested matters in court
- Collaborate with colleagues across related practice areas
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development
