The role
An Associate with 3-5 years of PQE in Employment & Labor Law is sought by Stikeman Elliott in Montreal, Canada. This role focuses on complex, large-scale transactional matters within the firm's Employment and Labor group, collaborating with the Business Law team.
What you'll do
- Work proactively on a wide variety of Canadian and international cases
- Collaborate with the firm's business law team in large-scale, complex transactions
- Conduct due diligence
- Review compensation plans
- Review employment and independent contractor agreements
- Review restrictive covenant agreements
- Review corporate policies
- Review collective agreements
- Review share or asset purchase agreements
What we're looking for
Three to five years of relevant experience, ideally in private practice
Bachelor of Laws
Excellent academic record
Member in good standing of the Québec Bar
Bilingualism, French and English (oral and written)
