The role

Stikeman Elliott is seeking a Corporate Associate with 3-6 years of PQE to join its Securities and Public Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Montréal. The role focuses on advising clients on a range of securities and M&A transactions, including public offerings, private placements, acquisitions, and corporate governance.

What you'll do

• Advise issuers and underwriters in connection with public offerings and private placements
• Advise issuers and underwriters in corporate acquisitions and divestitures
• Support buyers and sellers in tender offers, privatizations, and restructuring transactions
• Advise on corporate governance matters
• Act as legal counsel to strategic buyers, financial sponsors, private equity funds, pension funds, and boards of directors in transactions
• Advise on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including privatizations and initial public offerings
