Banking & Finance - Associate (L) at King & Wood

The role

King & Wood is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate with 2-4 years of PQE for their Hong Kong office. This role focuses on cross-border financing transactions within the firm's established banking and finance team.

What you'll do

Run transactions day to day
Draft and negotiate facility and security documents
Advise clients
Coordinate offshore and local counsel and conditions precedent processes
Supervise and delegate to paralegals and trainees

What we're looking for

2-4 years of post-qualification legal experience

Qualification to practise Hong Kong law

Multi-jurisdictional financing transactional experience

Good command of drafting and reviewing finance documentation

Ability to provide commercially astute advice

Ability to coordinate multiple parties

Ability to supervise and delegate to junior lawyers, paralegals and trainees

Ability to work in both written English and Chinese

Fluent in English and Mandarin

Experience preferably gained within an international law firm· nice to have

English law qualification is an advantage· nice to have

Client relationship experience an advantage· nice to have

Cantonese language is an advantage· nice to have
