NQ or Solicitor Healthcare NHSR

The role

DWF is seeking an NQ or Solicitor with 1+ years PQE in Health Law to join their Manchester office. This role focuses on Clinical Negligence within the Healthcare Team, representing Defendants primarily for NHS Resolution and managing a diverse caseload of NHSR cases, as well as supporting on group litigation.

What you'll do

• Manage a varied caseload of high value Defendant clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice on clinical negligence claims, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating case documents
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
• Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather information and evidence
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Healthcare Team to ensure high-quality service delivery
• Identify opportunities for Business Development with NHS Resolution and Trust clients
• Assist with Trust client care matters as required
