The role

Clifford Chance is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their New York office. This role focuses on advising leading players in the real estate industry on a broad spectrum of complex transactions and asset classes.

Advise clients on large and complex real estate transactions
Draft and negotiate transaction documents
Coordinate diligence
Support deal execution

What we're looking for

3+ years of law firm experience advising clients on large and complex real estate transactions

Experience advising clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, financing, leasing and strategic investments

Strong understanding of complex real estate transactions involving domestic and foreign institutional investors, private equity sponsors, asset managers, developers, lenders, and corporate clients

Experience managing substantial portions of sophisticated transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating diligence, and supporting deal execution

Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiation, and project management skills, with a practical and commercial approach to client service

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited US law school

High academic achievement

Strong interest in the subject area, entrepreneurial and a team-player

Admitted to (or possessing the ability to waive into) the New York Bar

Prior experience at a peer Am Law or international law firm

Benefits

Salary range of $260,000-$390,000
