Associate - Projects (Front End) at Corrs Chambers Westgarth

The role

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is seeking a 2-5 PQE Associate for its Projects (Front End) team in Melbourne. This role focuses on advising leading clients on major infrastructure, energy, resources, and construction projects, including contract drafting, negotiation, and procurement.

What you'll do

Advise leading project owners, government agencies, contractors and private sector clients on front end construction and infrastructure contracts, procurement, project delivery models, contract negotiation and drafting, risk allocation, and related advisory matters for major projects across Australia
Work closely with partner Joseph Barbaro
Handle front end construction and infrastructure contracts, procurement frameworks, project delivery models, contract negotiation and drafting, risk allocation, and related advisory matters across the full project lifecycle

What we're looking for

Approximately 2–5 years' post-qualification experience

Experience gained at a leading Australian, international or specialist projects, construction or infrastructure practice

Experience advising on front end construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy or major project contracts and advisory matters

Strong technical capability

Commercial judgement

Intellectual curiosity

Genuine interest in front end projects, construction contracts and advisory work
