Associate / Senior Associate, Banking & Finance – Asset Finance and Structured Solutions at Allens

The role

This role is for an Associate / Senior Associate in Allens' Banking & Finance practice group, focusing on Asset Finance and Structured Solutions in Sydney or Melbourne. It offers exposure to complex, high-value transactions and requires experience in a Banking & Finance team within a large law firm.

What you'll do

Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to aviation and aerospace finance and leasing
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to rail, shipping and transport finance
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to equipment, plant and machinery finance
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to technology, data centre and energy asset finance
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to leasing and asset-based structures
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to commodity financing and derivatives
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to receivables, warehouse and portfolio financings
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to bespoke structured solutions
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to cross-border financings
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to developing new finance products
Advise clients on financing arrangements relating to refinancings, restructurings and asset disposals

What we're looking for

Experience in a Banking & Finance team within a large law firm

Exposure to asset finance and structured solutions

Worked directly with clients to instruct them on complex finance transactions

A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others

Combination of private practice and in-house experience· nice to have
