Technology Lawyer

The role

Matheson LLP is seeking an ambitious Senior Technology Lawyer to join their market-leading Technology and Innovation group in Dublin. This role is for experienced technology lawyers looking to develop their expertise in advising international and domestic clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including digital services regulation, AI, data protection, and IP.

What you'll do

• Lead on challenging and innovative technology law projects for a variety of clients
• Work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary specialist teams on high value and business critical client projects
• Manage junior and associate solicitors on client advisory matters across the full range of technology, digital services and privacy issues
• Participate in a variety of business development opportunities including foreign client relationship visits and representing Matheson at international conferences
• Help drive thought leadership in technology law through the Matheson client knowledge programme
• Advise on the legal issues across large scale technology and commercial contract drafting and negotiations
• Advise on data protection, data privacy and data governance
• Advise on artificial intelligence
• Advise on cyber security and operational resilience
• Advise on the digital single market including DMA and DSA compliance, content regulation for online platforms and intermediary industries, e-commerce and online business practices for gatekeepers, platforms and businesses
• Advise on transactional and advisory intellectual property projects
