The role
Morrison & Foerster is seeking a mid- to senior-level Associate Attorney for its Energy and Infrastructure practice groups. This role will focus on Data Centers and Digital Infrastructure, requiring 3+ years of relevant law firm experience.
What we're looking for
3 - 6+ years of significant law firm experience in energy regulatory law, power markets, infrastructure transactions, or related energy matters
Experience in advising data center developers, hyperscalers, or large energy users
Experience in digital infrastructure, co-located generation, or large-scale energy procurement
Proactive with a strong business sense and ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships
Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form
Commitment to delivering excellent client service
Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward thinking
Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and judgement
Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
Experience with regulatory proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state public utility commissions, and appellate courts preferred· nice to have
