The role
Wynn Williams is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with 3-8 years of experience in corporate law, specifically M&A, to join their Auckland team. This role will involve working on national and international deals and mentoring junior lawyers.
What you'll do
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions
- Advise on shareholder arrangements
- Advise on corporate structuring
- Advise on capital raising
- Draft and advise on commercial contracts
- Work on large sized national and international deals
- Mentor and develop others
What we're looking for
3-8 years' solid experience in corporate law
Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions
Relevant experience and transferrable skills, having worked in a similar position on matters of a similar scale
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to mentor more junior lawyers within the team
Personable, with well-developed communication skills
Excellent technical skills and knowledge
Comfortable working in a high energy environment with the ability to think on their feet
A passion for this area of law and a flair for teamwork and collaboration
