Associate or Senior Associate - Environment, Planning and Local Government

The role

Wynn Williams is seeking an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate with 5-9 years of experience in environmental, planning, and local government law to join their team in Auckland or Christchurch. The role involves advising on a range of complex matters including the Resource Management Act, infrastructure, and public law for public and private sector clients.

What you'll do

• Advise on environmental, planning and local government matters
• Work on matters under the Resource Management Act
• Advise on infrastructure and development projects
• Advise on plan changes
• Advise on designations
• Advise on consenting processes
• Advise on public law aspects of local government decision-making
• Work closely with a highly regarded national team on complex, high-profile matters for public and private sector clients, including developers, infrastructure providers, and local authorities
• Take ownership of matters
• Contribute strategically to projects of regional and national significance
• Mentor and support more junior members of the team
