The role

Luke Cunningham Clere is seeking a Lawyer with 5+ years PQE to join their Litigation, Public Sector, and Regulatory practice in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch. This role is for experienced litigators and public law specialists who want to advance their careers and work with public-sector entities.

What you'll do

Act for a wide range of typically public-sector entities
Work with some of the country’s most experienced and respected litigators in a practice dedicated to serving the community through the law

What we're looking for

5+ years PQE in litigation and/or public law including at least 3 years in a law firm

Ability to rigorously analyse complex legal issues combined with the ability to find practical solutions

Strong people skills - the ability to engage with people, to listen, adopt a client service focus, and maintain collaboration

Demonstrate cultural competence - respect for Te Ao Māori, familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the work of government agencies
