The role
Lowndes Jordan seeks an Associate – Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with 2+ years of PQE, focusing on M&A, to join their Auckland team. This role involves advising a diverse client base on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on M&A structuring and transactional work.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on a range of commercial and corporate law matters
- Advise on a wide variety of legal matters, including M&A structuring and transactional work
- Provide usual commercial advisory work for regular clients
What we're looking for
At least 2 years PQE
Holds or entitled to hold a current NZ practising certificate
Strong experience in corporate and commercial law
M&A experience
Ability to build strong relationships and be client-focused
Maturity and a flexible approach
Excellent contract drafting, writing and negotiation skills
