Project / Infrastructure Finance Senior Solicitor / Senior Associate

The role

Chapman Tripp is seeking a Senior Solicitor or Senior Associate with 4+ years of PQE to join its Wellington Finance Practice. This role focuses on project finance within the infrastructure sector, working with high-profile clients and advising on transactional and advisory matters.

What you'll do

• Act for a wide range of high-profile clients including banks and funds, developers, local authorities and key public sector entities
• Undertake transactional and advisory issues in project finance
• Advise on the development and project financing of large-scale renewable energy projects
• Advise on the Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act
• Advise Government on public private partnerships
• Advise certain Government agencies on new approaches and related structuring advice for the funding and financing of infrastructure
• Advise clients in the energy sector on significant projects
