Real Estate Senior Associate- Southampton at BCLP

The role

BCLP is seeking a Senior Associate for their market-leading Real Estate practice in Southampton. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will focus on advising clients on complex and high-value real estate transactions, including leasing, asset management, and investment sales and purchases.

What you'll do

Take a lead role in key client teams, growing and developing our relationships with major institutional landlord clients
Advise on complex and strategic asset management matters including significant leasing transactions and lease re-gears
Supervise junior team members undertaking landlord and tenant transactions ensuring high quality efficient and commercial advice
Lead on investment sales and purchases of a broad range of assets for a wide range of clients
Assist with financing and corporate transactions
Draft and negotiate documents with a high level of attention to detail to ensure they meet client requirements
Provide commercial advice to clients to ensure that their interests are protected and that all relevant laws and regulations are adhered to at all times

What we're looking for

Strong experience advising on leasing transactions and the full range of asset management transactions

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

Analytical and excellent drafting skills

Flexibility and adaptability, supporting cases across a broad range of legal issues

Commercial focus with a knowledge of key areas of the law and able to provide clear, concise, practical advice

Working collaboratively with other fee earners including supervising more junior team members

Clear and concise communication skills

The ability to work independently but also keen to work in a challenging, team-based environment
