Associate, GLGM (Derivatives/Structured Finance/DCM)

The role

Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Finance Associate with 1-4 years of PQE for their London office. This role focuses on Structured Finance and Derivatives, involving complex transactions and advising a distinguished client base.

What you'll do

• Take hands-on responsibility for complex transactions
• Drafting, negotiating and closing deals from term sheet through post-closing
• Work on novel structures and help shape market-first documentation
• Working directly with clients and colleagues across the firm and around the world
• Analyse challenging issues
• Draw on the Firm's expertise
• Develop clear, commercially useful advice
• Drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation (including ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, confirmations and related schedules)
• Advising on securitisation, repackaging and structured note programmes and structured debt capital market transactions
• Supporting collateralised financing and repo transactions
• Conducting legal and regulatory analysis on novel product structures
• Preparing client-facing memoranda and market briefings
• Managing transaction workstreams
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
