Lawyer - Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations (Front-End) at Clayton Utz

The role

Clayton Utz is seeking a Lawyer - Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations with 3-5 years of PQE to join their Sydney-based Restructuring & Insolvency practice. This role will involve acting for a diverse range of clients on complex restructurings, workouts, and insolvency matters.

What you'll do

Act for global financial institutions, listed and multi-national companies, funds, directors, insolvency practitioners and investors on a wide range of restructurings and workouts, complex financing arrangements, special situations, and corporate insolvency

What we're looking for

3 - 5 years' PQE as a lawyer with strong academic performance

High quality and technically-sound drafting skills, with excellent attention to details

A proactive and dedicated approach to client service, with strong time and project management skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to build client relationships and maintain a positive team environment

A background in banking or finance with a desire to pivot expand your skillset in restructuring would be highly regarded· nice to have
