The role
This role is for a Real Estate Lawyer with 1-3 years of experience to join Mallesons' market-leading Real Estate team in Sydney. The position involves working on significant, complex, and high-value real estate transactions for a range of Australian and international clients, with a focus on major developments, acquisitions, and disposals.
What you'll do
- Advise on acquisitions and disposals of commercial real estate assets
- Draft, negotiate and review key transactional and development documentation
- Support major real estate developments from structuring through delivery
- Work directly with clients and collaborate across practice groups
- Mentor junior colleagues and support other team members
What we're looking for
1-3 years of experience
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong knowledge of the real estate industry
Strong commitment to client service
Well-developed relationship management ability
Team focus
First rate experience in drafting complex agreements and allocating risk in a commercially appropriate manner
Recognised major development experience gained in a similar environment
Strong technical skills
Sound commercial judgement
Attention to detail
A genuine interest in complex, large-scale real estate work
