Construction Solicitor/Associate

The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Construction Solicitor/Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join their nationally recognised Construction & Engineering team in London. This role will focus on advising clients on a broad range of contentious construction and engineering matters, working within a partner-led team.

What you'll do

• Advise on a very broad range of contentious construction and engineering matters
• Provide clients with pragmatic, commercial dispute avoidance advice and strategies designed to manage and minimise risk
• Support clients through negotiations, mediations and other non-adversarial forms of alternative dispute resolution
• Advise on disputes involving delays, disruptions, defects, payment issues, professional negligence and contractor or consultant claims
• Assist with adjudications, litigation, domestic and international arbitrations and other forms of dispute resolution
• Work directly with clients, technical experts and colleagues to deliver joined-up advice
• Contribute to business development activity and helping to build long-term relationships
