The role
Foot Anstey is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for their Banking & Finance team in Bristol. This role is for an experienced lawyer with 4+ years of PQE, focusing on transactional work across various finance matters, including acquisition finance and restructurings, advising both borrowers and lenders.
What you'll do
- Advise on both borrower and lender side transactions, taking responsibility for matters from inception to completion, including structuring, scoping and client engagement
- Work across a broad range of finance matters including acquisition finance, real estate finance, clearing bank panel transactions, management buyouts, private equity transactions and restructurings
- Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and delivering practical, solutions-focused advice
- Take an active role in business development, networking and strengthening client relationships, supported by an experienced and well-connected team
- Contribute to the growth of the practice, helping to identify opportunities, share market intelligence and create value for clients and colleagues
- Develop both your technical expertise and your profile in the market, with genuine opportunities for progression and increased responsibility
What we're looking for
