The role
Clayton Utz is seeking a Lawyer with 3+ years of experience in Corporate M&A and Capital Markets to join their Sydney team. This role will focus on assisting with Australian and cross-border M&A and capital raising transactions for domestic and global clients.
What you'll do
- Act for domestic and global clients across sectors spanning technology, fin-tech, health, financial services and retail
- Play a lead role on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, and public and private capital raisings including IPOs
- Advise on strategic corporate matters, governance, shareholder activism and ASX listing rules
What we're looking for
3+ years' experience post qualification experience within a distinguished corporate law practice
Well developed project management skills, with the capability to drive tasks with autonomy
Highly developed commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships
Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Equity capital markets experience would be highly desirable· nice to have
