The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity attorney with 1-7 years of experience to join its Technology practice area in Austin/Palo Alto. This role focuses on advising clients on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters within corporate and technology transactions.
What you'll do
- Advise on the full range of privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters on corporate and technology transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other commercial and strategic transactions
What we're looking for
1-7 years of experience
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Superior academic credentials
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work
Additional experience with technology industries· nice to have
Additional experience with regulatory policy and enforcement· nice to have
CIPP certification· nice to have
